Make sync-on-write the default
------------------------------

                 Key: DIRSERVER-695
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-695
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: Wish
    Affects Versions: pre-1.0
            Reporter: Jörg Henne

I strongly propose making sync-on-write the default in server.xml. Any database-ish component
should be concerned about durability.
