> Key: DIREVE-49
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIREVE-49
> Project: Directory Server
> Type: Task
> Components: interceptors
> Reporter: Alex Karasulu
> Fix For: 0.9.3

>
> An event notification service will be rooted at this interceptor. Events will be defined
for those interested in listening to operations in the server. We still need to iron out
details for two kinds of the same event: synchronous verses asynchronous events. These events
can be used as the basis for several other subsystems like for triggers.
> For now we want to figure out how we can integrate this with JNDI so we can listen for
certain operations taking place and respond to them.
