The Filter grammar contains an invalid production rule, in respect with RFC 2254 :

item returns [LeafNode node]
{
    node = null;
}
    : node=simple | node=extensible |
    ( COLONEQUALS
...

COLONEQUALS is not valid. The RHS should be :

    : node=simple | node=extensible
