Subject [jira] Commented: (DIREVE-130) Remove Maven generated reports from the release

Alex Karasulu commented on DIREVE-130:
--------------------------------------

At the moment our user docs are integrated with the maven docs as xdocs themselves. The entire
site for the ApacheDS portion is intertwinned this way. I'm afraid that for the time being
we may have to leave this as is and think of a different route for the future.

> I suggest removing the whole Maven generated doc from the distrib which is pretty useless.
> Keeping binaries + docs (api + dev + users) is more than enough and bring the distrib
back to a more reasonable size. Ideally it would even need to be split to avoid confusing
users.
> A distrib is at first user oriented so:
> - binaries + user docs
> if it needs to be embedded then dev must get the api and dev docs
> - api + dev
