Does this mean DIREVE-62 has been fixed in version 0.8.0? If yes, well... I can't seem to find the docs. Also, is 0.8.0 a future version or the current version? A quick grep on "0.8" didn't help. There seems to be a bug with the property: eve.net.ldap.port=10389 in eve/eve.properties. 'eve' is in my classpath but the property seems to be ignored. I think this is a useful tip that should find its way into the docs so folks don't have to start eve as root yet still listen to port 389: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 389 -i eth0 -j REDIRECT --to-port 10389 Note this doesn't affect local TCP requests coming from the same machine so your local test code or ldap viewer would still have to connect to 10389.
