Date Thu, 28 Oct 2004 01:52:34 GMT

Alex Karasulu resolved DIREVE-54:
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Committed revision 55762.

Switch from using a ThreadLocal as the basis for recovering underlying non-serializable comparators
to using the global comparator registry. Did on mass replacement of things. You can take
a look at the changes here:

> Key: DIREVE-54
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIREVE-54

> Components: jdbm database

>
> On a restart using an existing database, JDBM tries to resusitate serialized comparators
for indices. Some transient properties are not there when deserialized and cause the NPE.
We need to have a clear strategy for how we intend to deal with this Comparator issue.
