Resolver: Alex Karasulu Date: Sat, 3 Jul 2004 7:28 PM Ok this issue is effectively the same as the DIRSNICKERS-3 issue here: http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSNICKERS-3 The entire digester concept is a temporary fix for the time being until Alan has perfected the ASN.1 Stub compiler. The hand rolled message stubs and the digester rules for processing incomming BER encoded data is going to be replaced by generated stubs that automatically handle all the processing to populate a stub. Hence the role of the digester and the rules for LDAP will vanish. So this is what is meant by this issue's description: "Hand code the core ASN.1 constructs for the LDAP protocol until the compiler gets refined and put into production" --------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSNICKERS-65 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: DIRSNICKERS-65 Summary: LDAP ASN.1 Types Type: New Feature Status: Resolved Priority: Major Resolution: DUPLICATE Project: Directory Snickers Components: LDAP Provider Assignee: Alex Karasulu Reporter: Wes McKean Created: Fri, 20 Feb 2004 9:10 AM Updated: Sat, 3 Jul 2004 7:28 PM Environment: Core Eve Environment Description: Hand code the core ASN.1 constructs for the LDAP protocol until the compiler gets refined and put into production. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
