thanks to Joe for looking into this - the problem is a bug in the Openstack rubygem - I filed a pull request against the gem @  https://github.com/ruby-openstack/ruby-openstack/pull/20

Joe/Rlandy - could one of you test and ack/nack the fix against the rubygem? Once that happens I can merge into the master repo @ github and then cut a new version of the openstack rubygem. Then we can update our deltacloud gemspec to require that and close this ticket
