Subject [jira] [Created] (DTACLOUD-396) Random order of XML elements in CIMI (MRI 1.8)
Date Tue, 11 Dec 2012 13:51:20 GMT
Michal Fojtik created DTACLOUD-396:

             Summary: Random order of XML elements in CIMI (MRI 1.8)
                 Key: DTACLOUD-396
             Project: DeltaCloud
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Michal Fojtik

Today I saw something like this when I accidentally kept running DC on 1.8.7 ruby:

GET /api/machines

<volumes href="http://localhost:3001/cimi/machines/inst6/volumes" />
<description>No description set for Machine myDatabaseMachine</description>
<property key="credential">http://localhost:3001/cimi/credentials</property>
<property key="machine_image">http://localhost:3001/cimi/machine_images/img1</property>
<disks href="http://localhost:3001/cimi/machines/inst6/disks" />
<operation href="http://localhost:3001/cimi/machines/inst6/restart" rel=""
<operation href="http://localhost:3001/cimi/machines/inst6/stop" rel=""
<operation href="http://localhost:3001/cimi/machine_images" rel=""

Seems like the order of XML elements is random, I guess it has something todo with Ruby 1.8
lack of OrderedHash.
