Here's the properties to make sure a connection is still
good:
 
torque.dsfactory.default.pool.testOnBorrow=true
torque.dsfactory.default.pool.validationQuery=SELECT 1

This is a feature of the dbcp-configuration. See the part on
initialization and configuration of the runtime in the Torque
documentation, section SharedPoolDataSource.
