Yes,
find your Torque.properties file
and locate in it the section that configures the logging

something like this:

# -------------------------------------------------------------------
#
#  L O G G I N G
#
# -------------------------------------------------------------------
# We use Log4J for all Torque logging and we embed the log4j
# properties within our application configuration.
# -------------------------------------------------------------------

log4j.rootCategory = ERROR, default
log4j.appender.default = org.apache.log4j.FileAppender
log4j.appender.default.file = ./torque.log
log4j.appender.default.layout = org.apache.log4j.SimpleLayout


and change:
log4j.rootCategory = ERROR, default
to 
log4j.rootCategory =DEBUG, default
