Subject Problems with case-sensitive column name in Sybase
Date Mon, 13 Oct 2003 19:00:04 GMT
We are attempting to use Torque 3.1 with a Sybase 11.9.2 Data Server which
has case-sensitive
column names. It appears that Torque converts all column names to uppercase
in its generated
code.

We can get it to work by hacking the Peer.vm and MapBuilder.vm velocity
scripts, but would
prefer an out-of-the box solution. Perhaps an attribute on the <database>
element of the schema
could be used to indicate if the database is case-sensitive or not.

Is there another standard work-around for this problem? We cannot change
the case-sensitivity of the
database...

Thanks,

Claude De Lima
