Hi,

doSelectJoinxxx is protected in BaseXXXPeer.java. If you want to use it, you 
have to take it public.
in your XXXPeer.java:

  public List selectJoinXXX (Criteria cr) throws TorqueException {
    return doSelectJoinXXX (cr);
  }
