Something that might help is wrapping it all up in a cactus style unit test.
That way it makes it easier to share the code with someone else.  And, if
there is a bug for real (versus db configuration) then you have the testcase
ready for your patch!

Thanks for the reminder. I meant to use MySQL, but I was using
PostgreSQL. I'll try it with MySQL.
