Subject [jira] [Created] (TORQUE-299) In the getRelatedObject... methods in the Data objects, fill the reference to the current object
Date Thu, 22 Aug 2013 20:09:52 GMT
Thomas Fox created TORQUE-299:
---------------------------------

Summary: In the getRelatedObject... methods in the Data objects, fill the reference
to the current object
                 Key: TORQUE-299
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TORQUE-299
             Project: Torque
          Issue Type: Sub-task
          Components: Templates
    Affects Versions: 4.0
            Reporter: Thomas Fox
            Assignee: Thomas Fox
             Fix For: 4.1

For the example where one has the tables

A - AToB - B

where AToB has foreign keys to A and B, methods are generated in the A data object:
getAToB(...)
getAToBJoin...(...)

Currently, the objects retrieved by these methods do not have the back reference to A filled.
i.e getAToB(...).get(0).getA() will hit the database querying the A object.
This is not necessary as we already have the referenced A object.
This object should be cached.
