Subject [jira] [Created] (TORQUE-217) Date default values should be possible
Date Wed, 04 Jul 2012 20:43:34 GMT
Thomas Fox created TORQUE-217:
---------------------------------

Summary: Date default values should be possible
                 Key: TORQUE-217
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TORQUE-217
             Project: Torque
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Templates
    Affects Versions: 3.3.1, 3.3
            Reporter: Thomas Fox
             Fix For: 4.0-beta1

Currently, it is not possible to set a Date value (eg.1970-01-01 00:00:01) as default value.
The default value is rendered to the java code unchanged, without quotes, causing compile
errors.
The default should also be rendered as default to the database SQL.
