Subject [jira] [Commented] (TORQUE-185) Allow subselects which do not reference a column

Thomas Fox commented on TORQUE-185:
-----------------------------------

Currently, all tables are added to the from clause of a criteria. Currently the query would
have an additional TABLE1 in the inner select clause.
select * from TABLE_1 where (select count(*) from TABLE2,TABLE1 where TABLE2.COLUMN1 = TABLE1.COLUMN1
AND TABLE2.COLUMN2=?) = 0;

It must be possible to define the from clause manually.

> Currently it is not possible to create the following prepared statement query:
> select * from TABLE_1 where (select count(*) from TABLE2 where TABLE2.COLUMN1 = TABLE1.COLUMN1
AND TABLE2.COLUMN2=?) = 0;
> It should be possible to create such queries.
