Hi,

how about the following release schedule:

- accept last minute fixes up to tuesday, 19th October
- CfV for 3.1.1 release on wednesday, 20th October
- when CfV succesful: 3.1.1 release on 27th October

I'd volunteer as release manager (I need some practice ;-) )
