Subject RE: ObjectCacheSoftImpl
Date Sat, 30 Aug 2003 15:48:45 GMT
btw, we're refactoring the caches and the configuration of the caches:

There will be an object-cache element
This element can be declared
- repository root -> as a global setting
- within jdbc-connection-descriptor -> as a per database setting
- within class-descriptor -> as per class setting

then, all the implementation specific details for the cache can be passed to it using custom
attributes (just like in the sequence manager configuration element).

I will remove that JAR now.

	The CodeSwitcher is really a PITA, but I don't know of any better
	preprocessor. I'd like to see some simple ANT target to do this job.

	So I think it's ok to remove that jar file, as I've checked that the
	switching mechanism works for all supported JDKs.
