Hi Michael,

Other things to try if you can't use umask or chmod (I know, these  
are un*x commands but you might be able to execute them under your  
favorite un*x emulator pkg).

Windows Explorer file properties might also give you the ability to  
modify the executable status for a file or an entire directory.
