i am beginning to think it is a file system issue.

if i do:

jdbc:derby//localhost:1527/go/to/the/moon;create=true after having deleted that

directory from the derby system it will not create a new one.

at least i cant see the path and db in the derby system.

but if change it slightly:

dbc:derby//localhost:1527/go/to2/the/moon;create=true

now that path and db show up in konqueror.

so how in the world can i not see it in konqueror or the shell in linux

but it acts like it is there

and i can connect in squirell sql and see tables etc. like it was visible

in konqueror.

weirdest thing i have come across in some time.

i cant use this like this. dont know what to do.

correct me if i am wrong but that is what i observe.

i am using suse linux and derby 10.4.1.3

thanks,

later
