That's what I originally thought and tried.

Seemed simple enough.  :P


I think I have the greaterthan and equal messed up.

select FIRSTNAME, LASTNAME, TITLE, EMAIL from DBUSER.CONTACTS WHERE LASTNAME 
>= 'A' AND LASTNAME <= 'F'

That seemed to work.
