August 10th.

Bring your laptops..... IBM LinuxFest for Derby: A Hands-On Technical
Workshop for Business Partners and Developers looking to expand the
reach of their business or just looking to 'get technical' with IBM.

Expand your Linux opportunities with one of the three 90-minute
sessions that are scheduled. Two sessions will have a Java developer
focus; one session will have a PHP developer focus. These technical
sessions, sponsored by IBM, Red Hat, and Novell, will demonstrate how
to install open source solutions such as IBM Cloudscape, a commercial
distribution of the Apache Derby database server, and Gluecode
Standard Edition, IBM's Java application server built on Apache-based
technologies. Attendees will hear from industry leaders in this space
including Jeremy Boynes, IBM Committer, Apache Software Foundation and
Zend Technologies Andi Gutmans.
