Holger Rehn commented on DERBY-6681:
------------------------------------

Thank you for pointing that out! Would it be possible to increase priority of DERBY-2111 so
it has a chance to get fixed in the next Derby release? I was able to work around this bug
by modifying the rows affected by this bug in our production data base but we are still in
urgent need for a solution because this could happen again at any time and I'm not in control
of the application's source thus cannot implement a workaround there.

Cheers,
Holger

> When trying to execute a single command to update multiple rows with a new BLOB/CLOB
value, an exception is thrown because Derby tries to read the data stream once for every value/row
to update.
