Myrna van Lunteren updated DERBY-6324:
--------------------------------------

    Attachment: DERBY-6324.diff

Attaching a patch which tries to differentiate between jdbc 4.0 (assumed with java 6/jdk 1.6),
4.1 (assumed with 1.7), and 4.2 (assumed with 1.8).
It adds the import of JVMInfo to ClientDatabaseMetaData and EmbedDatabaseMetaData classes.
Or is there a better way to figure this out?

> Now that the work on DERBY-6000 is done, DatabaseMetaData.getJDBCMinorVersion() should
return 2 rather than 1. The following script shows that we're still returning 1:
> connect 'jdbc:derby:memory:db;create=true';
> call syscs_util.syscs_register_tool( 'databaseMetaData', true );
> values getJDBCMajorVersion();
> values getJDBCMinorVersion();
> call syscs_util.syscs_register_tool( 'databaseMetaData', false );
