Kathey Marsden commented on DERBY-1915:
---------------------------------------

Looking at the latest 10.10 test run, the tests that fail are:
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/I18NImportExport.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/urlLocale.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/messageLocale.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/caseI_tr_TR.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/iepnegativetests_ES.sql

I don't see the usage, but rather what looks like encoding issues with the output, The diff
output has > ij> `` EnC:>21< ``@@@ EnC:>1225< EnC:>65533< EnC:>65533
.... and the tmp file output has garbage characters.

> Project: Derby
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Test
> Affects Versions: 10.2.1.6, 10.2.2.0, 10.3.1.4
> Environment: ibm 15 with zOS (or z-series or OS/390)
> Reporter: Myrna van Lunteren

> With beta build 10.2.1.5 on z-series all i18n tests failed. The only output was the ij
usage message.
> I think this is related to the fact that the test harness does something special for
i18n tests.
