Knut Anders Hatlen updated DERBY-5840:
--------------------------------------

    Attachment: derby-5840-11-aa-engine-i18n-store-tools.diff

Attaching derby-5840-11-aa-engine-i18n-store-tools.diff, which cleans up the warnings in the
following test packages:

- engine
- i18n
- store
- tools

The warnings are silenced either by adding type parameters or by replacing code (typically
privileged blocks) with helper methods in the test framework.

The tests touched by the patch pass when run separately. I've started a full regression test
run to see if it breaks something else.

> Using Java 5 language features forces us to compile code at level 5 or higher. At this
level, the compiler raises warnings not seen at lower levels. This issue is a place to discuss
and attach cleanup to eliminate these warnings.
