Since the underlying NullPointerException happens because we try to put a null value into
a Properties object in DoubleProperties.propertyNames(), but we never actually use the property
value (the method returns p.keys()), I'm wondering if the attached patch would fix the problem.
It makes propertyNames() use an intermediate Vector instance instead of a Properties instance,
so that it never needs to access the property value.
