Subject [jira] [Created] (DERBY-5778) Test out of disk space on a Windows drive with "Compress drive to save disk space" selected
Date Tue, 22 May 2012 21:09:41 GMT
Kathey Marsden created DERBY-5778:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Test out of disk space on a Windows drive with "Compress drive to save
disk space" selected
                 Key: DERBY-5778
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-5778
             Project: Derby
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Test
            Reporter: Kathey Marsden

Per the discussion in DERBY-5691 there is a theory that Derby could become corrupt with runtime
disk compression enabled because Derby only ever expects to run out of space when expanding
a file and otherwise could become corrupt. It would be good to test disk full on Windows
with "Compress drive to save disk space" to verify this hypothesis.
