Ambili commented on DERBY-5676:
-------------------------------

Hi,

Latest update on this issue. As Mike mentioned we turned off encryption at customer site and
we were able to create and query database without any issues. But we tested it on our system
with same java version it worked.

But the difference we see in both environment is that java.security file has

security.provider.2=com.ibm.crypto.hdwrCCA.provider.IBMJCECCA

coming before IBM JCE.

security.provider.3=com.ibm.crypto.provider.IBMJCE

In our enviornment we don;t have IBMJCECCA provider.

So we are thinking that that can be the reason for failure. If anyone tested derby with AES
encryption where IBMJCECCA provider is used, please let me know.

regards
Ambili

> The install is created on a HFS file system. And we create DB using this command

error.
