Subject [jira] [Created] (DERBY-5627) Remove unused methods in UUID classes
Date Thu, 23 Feb 2012 13:03:48 GMT
Remove unused methods in UUID classes

                 Key: DERBY-5627
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-5627
             Project: Derby
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Services
    Affects Versions:
            Reporter: Knut Anders Hatlen
            Assignee: Knut Anders Hatlen
            Priority: Trivial

The UUIDFactory and UUID interfaces (and their implementations) contain some unused methods
that could be removed:

UUIDFactory/BasicUUIDFactory: The method recreateUUID(byte[]) is not used, except in a unit
test (T_UUIDFactory)

UUID/BasicUUID: The methods toByteArray() and toHexString() are never called, and the constructor
BasicUUID(byte[]) is only called by the unused recreateUUID() factory method.
