Subject [jira] [Resolved] (DERBY-2624) SEVERE error involving number-columns-spanned property
Date Thu, 21 Apr 2011 14:54:05 GMT

Kim Haase resolved DERBY-2624.
------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 10.3.1.4

This error no longer appears. My best guess is that it was fixed by the reformatting of the
table that was done for DERBY-2390.

> A SEVERE error like the following appears during the PDF generation of the Getting Started
manual:
> [fop] May 8, 2007 10:04:57 AM org.apache.fop.fo.PropertyList convertAttributeToProperty
> [fop] SEVERE: Ignoring property: number-columns-spanned="NaN" (file:///C:/javadb/trunk/out/getstart/getstartderby.fo:434:1047:
No conversion defined NaN; property:'number-columns-spanned')
> For this manual, the error appears 10 times. I believe it has something to do with the
way Table 2 is specified ("Libraries provided by Derby" in rgslib46043.dita). There are supposed
to be 5 rows that span columns; although the attributes for doing this appear to be specified
correctly, the rows do not actually span the columns.
> Since this error causes problems in the output, it should be fixed somehow, either by
correcting the DITA source or by fixing the toolkit in some way.
