Rick, I really appreciate you taking the time on thinking about this jira. As a start, I am
thinking I will go ahead and work on getMinimalSelectPermissionsList/getRequiredPermissionsListForCountStar()
approach. I think the actual implementation of that method will be required even by the alternative
approach you suggested. So, for now, I will work on implementing the new method and have it
used for count(*) case. Once I have that working, we can see if we should add a new internal
privilege type MINIMAL_SELECT_PRIVILEGE and use that privilege type rather than internal method
calls to implement the final solution. Once I have some kind of code ready, I will post it
to this jira so we are more clear on what I am proposing to do. Thanks.
