Bryan Pendleton commented on DERBY-3002:
----------------------------------------

I feel like I've worked on this code about as long as I can by myself; it's time to get
the wider Derby developer community to help shake out the next level of problems.

Many thanks to Knut, Dag, Manish, and all the other reviewers for the helpful
feedback and suggestions.

I've committed the current working version of the code to the trunk as revision 824966.

I intend to work on the documentation patch next (DERBY-4394).

If no significant issues arise immediately with the code just committed, I'll mark this
issue as resolved in the next few days, and we can deal with subsequent problems
as separate Jira issues.
