]

Kathey Marsden closed DERBY-401.
--------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed
      Assignee: Anurag Shekhar

It looks like Anurag implemented this under this issue's subtasks so closing it as fixed.
 I wasn't quite clear from the later discussion in this issue if we need an issue regarding
Knut's concern over the use of SQLState 58009. Knut, please file an issue for that if there
should be one.

>                 Key: DERBY-401

>             Project: Derby

>          Components: JDBC

> JDBC4 defines subclasses of SQLException. Derby code should be upgraded to use these
subclasses and throw them correctly based on the spec. I recommend we can start work on this
even prior to JDBC 4 spec being finalized.
