Myrna van Lunteren commented on DERBY-4020:

We have not heard anything for about 3 weeks - is this still a problem, or did it go away?
If still a problem, how's the progress on a repro?
And - what version of eclipse are you using?

> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-4020
> Project: Derby
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Eclipse Plug-in
> Affects Versions:
> Environment: Windowsxp professional
> Reporter: hayley yau
> Priority: Critical
> Attachments: derby.log
> After we install derby plugin (10.4.2) for eclipse, and wrote a very simple java database
interface as embedded database, we could not call InetAddress.isReachable() to ping another
host anymore, we got following error message -"An operation on a socket could not be perfromed
because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full".
> We have to restart the pc to get it to work again, it does not work even we get out of
eclipse and get in again.
