I am attaching an old user case which should show a deadlock but gives lock timeouts.  I think
it is just the same as DERBY-3980 except with inserts instead of deletes or updates, so I
don't think it warrants another test.  Posting it here so it can be tried with the fix once
there is one and perhaps someone else will see something worthwhile adding to the tests.
