Thanks for all the answers and the drafts, Dag. That will give me a big head start.

Yes, it would be very helpful to be consistent with the authid/user/role terminology. Ideally
I guess we would say "user" only when something applied only to a user and not to a role.
I'm still undecided on whether to use AuthorizationIdentifier instead of "user or role" in
all cases or just when talking about formal syntax. We have time to think this over.
