It's good to know that the client driver isn't experiencing the bug. Thanks for testing it!

Now, to get this fixed in the embedded driver, it would be really helpful to get a repro we
can run. Are you still planning on providing one?
If not, it's very hard to fix the bug, as we don't know the cause. One could guess and try
to put some tracing code into a custom build, but that means someone has to do this and then
you have to run it in your system to test it out.
I'm not sure how excited developers will be about such a bug fixing cycle :)

Further, I guess we don't know when the corruption is happening, only that you see it when
you restart Derby.
