My apologies Kristian. This is actually the first time I created diff files so I'm still in
the process of learning. I found a website with basic instructions on using the diff tool
but if someone can point me in the direction of something more useful for this specific case
(or point me to some tool with a GUI that makes things easier for us..), I'd appreciate it.
I tried diff'ing the whole directory and it errored out, claiming it had exhausted the memory.

As for the other suggestions, I'll certainly follow them in future patches.
