Subject [jira] Commented: (DERBY-3642) Update and rectify the Derby tutorial
Date Sun, 27 Apr 2008 13:26:56 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-3642?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12592646#action_12592646

Suran Jayathilaka commented on DERBY-3642:

The current tutorial uses linux file system paths in it's instructions and examples. Would
it be acceptable for these to be Windows file system paths, since I am working on this issue
on a machine running Windows? But using strictly Linux file paths would not pose a problem
for me either, as I have a machine running Linux as well.

Also, I have updated the tutorial to say that it was created using JDK 1.5. Is this acceptable
or should it remain as JDK 1.4.2?

Please express your opinions. Thanks.
