I agree that this is very likely caused by the last check-in on DERBY-2911, either directly
or indirectly. It seems like if the test had used an insane build, the same error would have
resulted in an NPE on line 878 in ControlRow.java, which matches the stack traces posted on
DERBY-3362. I'll do some more digging.
