Subject [jira] Closed: (DERBY-3483) weme 6.1 tests fail with Parsing policy file: jar:file... derby_tests.policy, found unexpected: permission

Myrna van Lunteren closed DERBY-3483.

    Resolution: Invalid

I assigned this issue to me, although Dan found the cause and Kathey updated the wiki page...

The problems went away for suites. All after specifying -Demma.active=""; however because the
(old) test harness kicks off multiple jvms, it also had to be tagged on to the -Djvmflags=
property (-Djvmflags=<existingflags>^-Demma.active="") to get around the derbyall failures.

I mistakenly added comments on the derbyall problems to DERBY-2109, but they have nothing
to do with that.

Marking invalid because that's what we do for jvm bugs.

> Most of the J2ME tests failed with security permissions due to problems parsing the policy

> y_tests.policy, found unexpected: permission
> Could not create and run test suite: java.security.AccessControlException: Access denied
> on getPolicy )
> This was caused by the following checkin. It is not clear yet which permission is causing
the problem.
