Haolan Qin updated DERBY-3033:
------------------------------

    Attachment: test.rar

1. copy the attached "viewer" folder to your derby folder
2. launch derby on port 9002
3. java -cp .;./derbyclient-10.2.2.0.jar SkipScan

You will see the exception in the console.

The exception will NOT be thrown if you modify the java file to hard-code those numbers (4
and 100) in the query or if you run the query from a sql console window. Also, if you add
an index on dicom_send_requests.send_date and run the same program, the exception will not
be thrown.

If you turn on execution plan logging, you will see that the exception scenario has a different
execution plan from all other scenarios.

> The following error was repeatedly thrown when we tried to run a select query via JDBC.
Strangely, the exact same select query did not trigger any error when run from the command
line console. After we added an index, the error went away completely.
