Subject [jira] Updated: (DERBY-2849) Add a document for derby.jdbc.xaTransactionTimeout system/database property
Date Thu, 21 Jun 2007 14:14:26 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-2849?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Julius Stroffek updated DERBY-2849:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: d2849.stat
                d2849.diff

I have created a documentation patch. I rebuild the whole documentation bundle and I do not
know quite well whether I should do also something else. I checked the piece I have added
and the corresponding links between other stuff. Everything seems to me to be all right.

Please feel free to give me any comments and/or fix my grammar (or rewrite the whole text)
if it seems to be appropriate... ;-)

Thanks.

> The XA transaction timeout feature was added in DERBY-2432. It introduced a new property
"derby.jdbc.xaTransactionTimeout" which defines a default value of XA transaction timeout
if it was not specfied in a call to XAResource.setTransactionTimeout. The property might be
specified also as a database property.
> The documentation should be probably added to 'Derby properties' chapter to "Tuning Derby"
guide.
