Knut Anders Hatlen updated DERBY-2753:

    Attachment: encodingexception.diff

Attaching a patch which fixes the issue by changing three occurrences of "catch (Exception
e)" with "catch (UnsupportedEncodingException e)". I'm running the tests now, and I plan to
commit this simple fix once they have completed.

> Some methods in org.apache.derby.impl.drda.DDMWriter catch Exception and print a message
about unsupported encoding. They should instead catch the specific exception UnsupportedEncodingException
and let all other exceptions propagate up the call stack.
