Myrna van Lunteren resolved DERBY-1218.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Duplicate

I believe the functionality desired by this bug was implemented with revision:
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=498842
for DERBY-2228.

ij now establishes whether the jvm is running JSR169 and it defaults to use EmbeddedSimpleDataSource.

Although DERBY-2228 covers more than this I'm marking this duplicate.

> ij should detect if it is running in a J2ME environment (via JVMInfo) and switch to using
DataSources automatically. Any protocol set in ij.protocol should be dropped. See discussion
