Kim Haase commented on DERBY-2431:
----------------------------------

I'm not the authority on this, but I think I can answer these:

getBestRowIdentifier is a method.

> 1. Is "this last choice" referring to the the getBestRowIdentifier section and the last
bullet (that "all the
> columns in the table" is the last in the order.

Yes, you guessed right.

> 2. Is it, as in "it will always" referring to Derby or the getBestRowIdentifier. Ambiguous
"it"

"It" refers to getBestRowIdentifier. So you could rephrase the beginning of the paragraph
as follows to remove the ambiguity:

"Because getBestRowIdentifier searches all the columns in the table, it will always ..."

> Documentation for DatabaseMetaData should reflect that getColumnPrivileges and getTablePrivileges
are implemented

> SQL Grant / Revoke functionality was added in the 10.2 release, but the documentation
for Derby's java.sql.DatabaseMetaData states that the methods getColumnPrivileges and getTablePrivileges
are not supported. Implementations for these DatabaseMetaData methods were added as part of
Grant / Revoke support, and the documentation for Derby's DatabaseMetaData implementation
should be updated to reflect that.
