Subject [jira] Created: (DERBY-2320) Example in DEGREES function is not appropriate.
Date Sun, 11 Feb 2007 06:41:05 GMT
Example in DEGREES function is not appropriate.
------------------------------------------------

                 Key: DERBY-2320
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-2320
             Project: Derby
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Documentation
         Environment: http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/ref/rreffuncdegrees.html
            Reporter: Tomohito Nakayama
            Priority: Minor

In the description of DEGREES function in Derby Reference Manual, next description exists.

> Attention: The conversion from radians to degrees is not exact. You should not expect
that the COS(RADIANS(90.0)) to exactly equal 0.0.

Because the page is for DEGREES function , example here should be DEGREES( ACOS( 0 ) ) and
90.0 .
