Subject [jira] Commented: (DERBY-2344) 'java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space' in NetworkServerThread

Ole Solberg commented on DERBY-2344:
------------------------------------

I agree that we may set max memory to a non-default value, but the question is then how do
we decide that value?
By simply increasing the allowed max memory won't we just hide any memory leak problems that
we may have?

If we set a specific limit that should probably be what is equivalent to the "client jvm"
value if we want to catch memory leak problems in these tests?

> I see this only on test machines with 1Gb of memory or less. Our lab-machines with 2Gb
mem show now problems.
